IT Network / Computer Systems Administrator

Manpower is recruiting for an experience IT Network / Computer Systems Administrator for one of our major clients in Sullivan County.The experienced IT/Computer Systems Admin will be responsible for the proper functioning and security of the clients' networks while servicing a diverse community of users accessing network services from New York and around the world. Administers and extends VMware vSphere and vCenter 5.x/6.x infrastructure in multi-host environment. Manage over 40 Windows Server-based Virtual Servers and remediates issues.

Updates/upgrades servers using Windows Update Services and 3rd Party patch management application. Administers existing network firewall devices as well as researches and proposes solutions for replacement of aging security equipment and software.
Monitors Barracuda SPAM/Virus Firewall and Barracuda Web Filter devices to ensure network safety. 

If you are interested in this position, please make certain you meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Related discipline (or similar educational qualification)
• 3 or more years’ experience as a network administrator or network consultant.
• Certification in, or strong background with, Microsoft technologies used in the facility such as Exchange, Active Directory, and SharePoint.
• Certification in, or strong background with VMware products.
• Knowledge of enterprise backup software such as Backup Exec and VEEAM
