Senior Research Scientist

University at Buffalo - Amherst, NY

Successful candidates will have a PhD degree in a biomedical research field and at least three years of research experience in molecular biology and cell biology. The person is expected to perform daily experiments to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms of Parkinson's disease using a variety of approaches including patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells and induced dopaminergic neurons. A high level of motivation and self management are expected as well as the ability to write manuscript and to develop proposals for external funding.
