Hours: Part Time - 20 Hours - Mon-Fri - 7:30 am - 3:30 pm - hours are flexible

Requirements:

Snell Farm Children's Center is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides IEP mandated services to youth from 10-21 years of age in our residential school. The successful candidate will provide assessment and treatment, as well as serve on the multi-disciplinary team to make recommendations for students at the Snell Farm Campus School. The OT will be responsible for creating and implementing therapeutic

treatments, including school remediation, sensory modulation, gross and fine motor skills to match student abilities. Arrangements for an OT or COTA in need of supervision may be possible. Must be able to work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver services to students with one or more of the following: emotional, learning and/or developmental disabilities.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Education required and NYS Certification in Occupational Therapy. Preferred skills include: experience with special needs and emotionally disabled youth and young adults. Valid NYS Driver's License required. Candidates must meet Agency driving and insurance standards.
