Position Title:  Instructional Designer – Stores Leadership Development & Training
Reports to:  Manager – Stores Leadership Development & Training
Location:     New Albany, Ohio
 
 
The Instructional Designer will be based out of Abercrombie & Fitch’s Home Office in New Albany, Ohio. The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for Abercrombie & Fitch Brands and understand the importance of upholding training standards. 
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop eLearning material as well as instructor led material for training courses that support company initiatives
  • Utilize multimedia tools to create eLearning
  • Migrate current paper training materials to eLearning
  • Understand customer’s business needs and seek information on both explicit and implicit needs of a customer
  • Design learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
  • Upload, test and maintain content on LMS as well as troubleshoot technology issues as needed
  • Facilitate instructor – led training sessions
  • 4 year undergraduate college degree is required; Instructional Design, Instructional Technology / Education related fields of study are preferred
  • Instructional design experience (at least three years required)
  • Experience using Adobe eLearning Suite Programs and Storyline Articulate
  • Well versed in the application of ADDIE
  • Self-starter with the ability to determine learning needs, propose design solutions, collaborate with stakeholders and provide great customer service
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to move fast and deliver results while insisting on high standards and attention to detail
  • Previous retail experience either in stores, distribution or corporate capacity is preferred
  • Knowledge of gamification is preferred
  • US work authorization
